London Triathlon

The 2008 London Triathlon will take place over the weekend of the 9th & 10th August.

You could recieve a free Camaro Speedskin wetsuit by taking part in the Mazda London Triathlon! Read below for more details.

It costs just £1 to clear 1m² of minefield so your support could make a huge difference to people living in mine affected communities.

About the triathlon

The triathlon is a challenge event which includes three parts swim, cycle and then a run. There are three categories that you can compete in and these consist of different distances:

  • Super Sprint Distance - 400m (swim) / 10km (bike) / 2.5km (run) on Saturday 9 August 2008     
  • Sprint Distance - 750m / 20km / 5km on Saturday 9 August 2008      
  • Olympic Distance - 1500m / 40km / 10km on Sunday 10 August 2008      

Team Racing - will take place on Saturday 9 August 2008

The London Triathlon takes place at London's ExCel centre in Victoria Dock. Some of the course, for people taking part in the Olympic distance, weaves past some of the city's most famous landmarks including Tower Bridge, the London Eye and Big Ben.

How to apply for a No More Landmines place

If you choose to participate for No More Landmines we will offer you:

  • Technical equipment and training apparel
  • Fundraising support
