No More Landmines helps and empowers communities around the world by removing the threat of landmines and
unexploded weapons. We also provide support for survivors of landmine accidents to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
Years of civil war and international conflicts have left Cambodia economically and politically unstable. Due to the landmine crisis, Cambodia has the largest number of mine amputees in the world. The Cambodian government is committed to eradicating landmines; however, it cannot carry out landmine clearance programs alone. International support is needed to clear mines and pave the way for reconstruction and development.
